Jordan Poyer Will Play On Monday Night
2 years agoBuffalo Bills All-Pro safety Jordan Poyer (knee) said that he has been playing this year with a torn lateral meniscus in his knee, but he will be out there on Monday night against the Cincinnati Bengals to close out Week 17 action. Buffalo hasn't lost any of the last 14 regular season games that Poyer has played in. Poyer was listed as questionable for Monday's game, but he will play and should be an every-down player after playing 92 percent of the offensive snaps in last week's win over the Chicago Bears. The Bills defense will need all the help they can get in trying to slow down Bengals wideouts Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd in a big AFC showdown. A first-time Pro Bowler in 2022, Poyer enters the game with 54 tackles (37 solo), four tackles for loss, four interceptions and eight passes defensed in 11 starts.
