Jordan Lyles Struggles With Control, Takes Loss
4 years agoTexas Rangers pitcher Jordan Lyles lost his third game of the season on Tuesday as the San Francisco Giants came away victorious by the score of 4-2. The veteran right-hander struggled with his control and walked five batters over five innings. On the plus side, he struck out six batters and allowed just two hits. Tuesday was also the first game of the year that he did not allow a home run. Lyles has had a nightmare season to date with a 6.63 ERA and 46 hits allowed — including nine home runs — in 38 innings of work. He's not someone you want to count on in any fantasy format.
