5 months agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jonathan Loaisiga (shoulder) resumed throwing on flat ground on Tuesday and made 50 tosses from 60 feet. The team's No. 2 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, has a 4.50 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 13 strikeouts in 14 innings over three starts and one relief outing for the Yankees this year. The 24-year-old native of Nicaragua has nasty stuff and should see more starts this year, but he's unlikely to make it back until sometime in the middle of July. He'll be a streaming candidate in deeper leagues whenever he makes another start for the Yankees.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
