6 years agoToronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas seems to always have extra motivation when playing against Andre Drummond and the Pistons, as the two names have come up in trade rumors in the past. Valanciunas and Drummod were doing battle in the Air Canada Centre in this one, and though Drummond had the better line (25 points, 17 rebounds and four steals), JV was able to help his team secure the win. Valanciunas finished with 17 points, 16 boards and two blocks in this one. He did turn the ball over four times, but the scoring a rebounding numbers were sure to satisfy owners. The Lithuanian will have his chance to show up All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge against the Spurs on Friday.--Matthew Thomas
