Johnathan Hankins Expected To Sign With Seahawks
9 months agoFormer Dallas Cowboys nose tackle Johnathan Hankins is expected to sign an undisclosed deal with the Seattle Seahawks, according to a person close to the situation. The Cowboys were interested in bringing Hankins back, but the Seahawks offered more. The 31-year-old came into the NFL as a second-round pick of the New York Giants in 2013 out of Ohio State and spent the first four years of his career in the Big Apple before also playing for the Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Raiders. Hankins had 27 tackles (13 solo) and three sacks in 14 regular-season starts for Dallas in 2023. He will help beef up the interior of Seattle's defensive line in 2024 and brings veteran experience, but Hankins shouldn't be drafted in IDP fantasy leagues.
