John Hunter Nemechek gets to ride for the Legacy Motor Club in the Daytona 500. The team switched to Toyota and the thought process is Nemechek could be one to watch. He will start tenth in the Daytona 500. The young driver did finish 11th in a Ford in 2020. Nemechek nearly won in the Xfinity series last year at Daytona and settled for second. That was in a Toyota car. Therefore, the 26-year-old will have experience with the faster car. It served him well in the Duels and he was fifth quickest in the practice session.
