Joey Votto To Sit Again For Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Reds will take on the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight, but will be without first baseman Joey Votto. He also sat out the second game of the doubleheader between the Pirates and Reds yesterday. Votto started off the season with a terrible .208 batting average in the first 44 games, but has a .444 average (12-for-27) over his last six games. If an owner in your league dropped him due to his horrendous start to the season, he is worthy of an add, but it's definitely possible that he regresses back to the majority of how his season has gone so far. Derek Dietrich will start at first base in Votto's spot tonight.
