The Padres assigned starting pitcher Joey Lucchesi to minor league camp this afternoon after he made four appearances this spring. Over 11 2/3 innings of work, Lucchesi allowed two runs on five hits and five walks while striking out nine. While he does not have as high a ceiling as other pitching prospects in the Padres organization, Lucchesi is more than capable of being a solid option in fantasy. He will most likely be one of the first options the Padres turn to if a spot opens up in the rotation, if not the first option. In deeper and NL-Only leagues, Lucchesi will be worth a late round flier.--Michael
