Philadelphia Flyers winger Joel Farabee notched a late game-tying goal in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Rangers, bagging his seventh marker of the season with 1:14 left in regulation. Nicolas Aube-Kubel had one goal as well, with Kevin Hayes registering assists on both Flyers tallies. Philly returned from its COVID-19 break in an impressive fashion when Aube-Kubel scored inside the first minute, but they couldn't generate a lot of offense with multiple guys out. This was the first game since March 2009, which both Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek missed. They also won't be available for Sunday's outdoor clash with the Bruins at Edgewood Tahoe Resort. The Flyers will, however, be able to rely on Farabee, who has had a very impressive start to the season with 13 points through 14 games.--Taavi Pailk
