2 years agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow confirmed on Tuesday that he and the team continue to work on a long-term contract extension after the Bengals unsurprisingly picked up his fifth-year option. "I'm involved. That's in the works," Burrow said. "That's not really something that I like to play out in the media. That's something — just the way, I think, they want to do business, I want to do business, we prefer to keep that between us." It sounds as though the 26-year-old may not break the bank in order to leave some money on the table for his teammates that also need extensions, but he's still going to be paid very handsomely when all is said and done. Burrow has become a high-end NFL QB in the last two years, reaching the Super Bowl and then taking his team to the AFC Championship this past January.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
