Jimmy Graham 2020 Outlook: More Production Expected?
5 years agoChicago Bears tight end Jimmy Graham signed a two-year, $16 million contract with the team back in March. After years of efficiency in New Orleans and Seattle, Graham fizzled in Green Bay, especially in 2019, by finishing with just 38 catches for 447 yards and three touchdowns, with some of those numbers being the lowest of his 10-year career. The veteran will next be tasked with fighting for looks with a plethora of receivers, notably with Allen Robinson II, Anthony Miller, and Ted Ginn Jr., in addition to having competition from rookie tight end Cole Kmet for snaps. However, with Kmet's role likely as a blocker this upcoming season, while Graham lines up in the slot, the veteran has a shot to see an increase in production. Though he may not be worth a reach in fantasy drafts, he has the potential to surpass expectations in 2020, which will be welcomed, more so for those in deeper, multiple tight end formats.
