Jhostynxon Garcia Launches 16th Triple-A Home Run
Jhostynxon Garcia went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run during their contest on Friday against Buffalo. Over his last 15 games at Worcester, Garcia has been one of the most dominant power hitters at the level, holding a .354/.382/.785 line with five doubles, one triple, and seven home runs. During this stretch, he has posted a 1.167 OPS. Overall, since joining the top level of the Boston system, Garcia has held a .307/.372/.589 line with 11 doubles and 16 home runs. Earlier in the season, Garcia hit just three home runs through a 33-game stint at Double-A Portland. Given his quick progression at Triple-A, Garcia could be in the mix to debut in Boston later this season. He is worth stashing in deeper formats for the time being.
