New York Mets infield prospect Jett Williams went 3-for-5 with one triple, two runs, one RBI, and two stolen bases during their contest against Double-A New Hampshire on Tuesday evening. This was Williams's second-straight game hitting a triple. This outing also extended his current hitting streak to five games. Last summer, the No. 55-ranked prospect in the sport and No. 2-ranked in Queens battled injuries and was only able to log 33 MiLB games. However, Williams has been very productive over the first 12 games of the Double-A campaign. During this stretch, the former 14th overall pick has held a strong .292/.346/.563 slash line with three doubles, two triples, two home runs, and four stolen bases. If he continues to perform well with Double-A, he could contend for an early-season Triple-A promotion.--Andy Smith
