Jets Re-Sign Neal Sterling
7 years agoThe New York Jets re-signed restricted free-agent tight end Neal Sterling to a one-year deal on Monday. Sterling is mainly a special teams asset and led the team with 26 special teams tackles. On the offensive side, he had just six catches for 82 yards in 11 games last season and made just one start. With Jordan Leggett and Clive Walford listed atop the tight end depth chart right now, Sterling has a chance to carve out a role, but no fantasy owners should have him on their radar to open the season.
