4 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Castellanos and infielder Mike Moustakas could both see time at designated hitter this year if the team wants to improve defensively, but outfielder Jesse Winker might be the biggest beneficiary of the new rule this year in the National League. Winker has a career .909 OPS against right-handers but hasn't impressed defensively. Other options at DH include Nick Senzel, Shogo Akiyama, Phillip Ervin and Aristides Aquino. Because Cincy's outfield is so crowded, regular playing time in the DH role would make Winker a little more attractive to fantasy owners in 2020. However, he could still sit against lefties after hitting .269/.357/.473 with 16 home runs, 38 RBI and 51 runs in 113 games in 2019.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
