5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jerick McKinnon (knee) wants to stay with the 49ers moving forward. "I’m willing to do whatever... The organization knows I want to be a part of this team, so when that time comes there will be a talk between both parties," McKinnon said. McKinnon signed as a free agent before the 2018 season and hasn't played a single game with the Niners due to knee troubles. Even if Matt Breida were to walk in free agency this year, McKinnon would be down the depth chart behind Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman, and that's assuming he still has anything left after his serious knee injury that has kept him out the last two seasons.
