San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija continues to be off to a rocky start this season. On Monday night versus the Phillies, Samardzija gave up five runs, three hits and three walks while striking out three batters. Samardzija had very little command and was throwing the ball all over the place. He also gave up a pair of home runs. Samardzija has been a mess since returning from a pectoral injury and now owns a 6.62 ERA in four starts and has yet to get past the fifth inning in any of those starts. A date with the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday is next for Samardzija, but he should be left alone until he can string together a few good starts.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
