Milwaukee Brewers catching prospect Jeferson Quero (hamstring, shoulder) has resumed baseball activities as he continues his return from multiple injuries. The Venezuelan backstop made one plate appearance last season before going down with a shoulder injury that required surgery, then suffered a hamstring injury in spring training this year. Whenever the 22-year-old gets back in the lineup, it is expected to be with Triple-A Nashville, but the Brewers' top prospect (MLB No. 44) should make his major-league debut at some point later this year. However, after missing so much time and with William Contreras locked in at catcher, there is no need to rush it. With a 16-homer campaign under his belt in just 90 games in 2023, there is some pop in his bat, so fantasy managers needing catcher help will want to monitor his progression, although he is known more for his work behind the plate than his offense.--Jarod Rupp
