Jaylen Waddle A WR3 This Monday
3 months agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle will have a challenging matchup in Week 4 when the team hosts the visiting Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football. Waddle -- and the rest of the Dolphins' offense -- has sputtered over the last two weeks, seeing his production tick down with the loss of Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) to injured reserve. After a solid start to the season, where he caught all five of his targets for 109 yards, the fourth-year wideout has amassed just 67 yards and eight receptions on nine targets. With Skylar Thompson (ribs) also injured -- Tyler Huntley will take over as Miami's signal caller. Huntley will boost the Dolphins' skill players and should give the team a better chance to produce effectively. However, he was only just acquired by the team from the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad. Head coach Mike McDaniel will likely provide the 26-year-old QB with a more vanilla game plan. That and his propensity to use his legs could lead to fewer targets for Miami's pass-catchers overall. Despite a lowered floor and ceiling, the Alabama product -- like his speedy WR counterpart Tyreek Hill -- has the ability to turn any touch into six points. Waddle is RotoBaller's WR34 in Week 4's rankings regarding PPR formats.
