Javier Baez Hits Sixth Home Run

Chicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez remained hot on Friday versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Baez went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a solo home run. Baez has been heavily criticized for striking out 35 times this season and only drawing one walk, but it's hard to complain with the power numbers he is putting up this season. Baez is now hitting .233 with six home runs, 17 RBI and five stolen bases. Despite the low batting average, he offers the power and speed that managers should seek on their rosters.
