Jauan Jennings, Jordan Mason Miss Thursday's Practice
12 months agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (concussion), running back Jordan Mason (illness) and tight end Ross Dwelley (ankle) were non-participants in practice on Thursday. Jennings suffered a concussion in Week 15, didn't play in the Week 16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and seems unlikely to return in Week 17 when the team faces the Washington Commanders. If Jennings misses a second straight game, rookie Ronnie Bell and Chris Conley could have bigger roles in the passing game, especially with Deebo Samuel also dealing with a sprained neck. Mason, meanwhile, should be fine to play by Sunday, but he'll likely be the RB3 for San Fran now that Elijah Mitchell (knee) appears ready to return in Week 17 as the backup for Christian McCaffrey.
