5 years agoCleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis (wrist) is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Kipnis was removed during Saturday's game due to a sore right wrist. It appears to be a minor issue, but the Indians are going to play it safe and give Kipnis the day off on Sunday. Mike Freeman will cover second base and bat fifth versus righty Charlie Morton. Freeman doesn't have much upside with the bat, so he can be ignored.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
