Jarren Duran, Wilyer Abreu Sitting Against Lefty
Jarren Duran and Wilyer Abreu will both take a seat for Tuesday's contest against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park with left-hander Cristopher Sanchez on the mound. Rob Refsnyder is starting in left field and batting leadoff, while rookie Roman Anthony is in right field and in the two-hole. Duran is hitting only .209 (29-for-139) with one of his nine home runs on the year against left-handers, and he's sitting against a southpaw for the second straight time. Abreu, who also hits from the left side, has batted .225 (9-for-40) with only one of his 20 homers coming against lefties. Refsnyder is known as a lefty killer in his career and is hitting a solid .273 (30-for-110) on the year, but he doesn't come with much pop. Refsynder has gone 22-for-76 (.289) with four of his five long balls on the year against southpaws.
