Jarrad Davis Out Indefinitely After Having Surgery
1 year agoNew York Giants inside linebacker Jarrad Davis (undisclosed) is out indefinitely after having undisclosed surgery. It's a hit to the team's depth at the position that is already lacking experience next to Bobby Okereke and Darrian Beavers. Davis surely isn't going to be ready for the start of training camp in a couple of weeks, and it will probably be a stretch for him to be ready for the start of the regular season, too. With the 27-year-old now on the mend, it's going to open up an opportunity for more playing time early on for Carter Coughlin. Davis, a former first-rounder in 2017, played in just four games (one start) last year for the Detroit Lions and Giants, tallying 14 tackles (seven solo) and half a sack.
