Jamison Crowder Headed To Injured Reserve
2 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Jamison Crowder (ankle) is expected to be put on Injured Reserve, which means he'll have to miss at least the next four games after suffering a broken ankle in the Week 4 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Crowder's absence will mean more work for slot man Isaiah McKenzie (concussion), although his status is currently in doubt for Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. If McKenzie isn't cleared from the league's concussion protocol, rookie Khalil Shakir could be forced into significant snaps this weekend. Crowder has been a fantasy afterthought so far in 2022 while working behind McKenzie in the slot. He's caught just six passes on 13 targets for 60 yards and no touchdowns in four games.
