Dallas Stars player Jamie Oleksiak was selected by the Seattle Kraken during the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft on Wednesday. He then inked a five-year contract with a $4.6 million AAV to stick with the new club on a long-term basis. The 28-year-old defenseman had a solid season last year with six goals and 14 points in 56 games. Oleksiak averaged more than 20 minutes per game — the highest mark of his career — and doled out 148 hits with 88 blocked shots. He will likely see an expanded role with the Kraken and become more fantasy-relevant. Although he may never be a big points-producer, the 6-foot-7 Oleksiak should be an attractive target in leagues that count hits and/or blocked shots. He's entering his 10th NHL season. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
