James Conner Tests Positive For COVID-19
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner has tested positive for COVID-19, according to multiple sources. Conner is awaiting a second test on Sunday to confirm the results, and the Steelers will continue contact tracing. Fantasy managers will have to scramble for other options with Conner likely out for Week 12 against the Ravens on Tuesday night. If the game against Baltimore is played on Tuesday, Benny Snell Jr. should be the Steelers primary back, with Anthony McFarland Jr. sprinkled in. Inclement weather is expected, too, so Pittsburgh could lean heavily on the ground game, giving Snell some RB2 potential, albeit in a tough matchup with the Ravens Defense. Run to the waiver wire and add Snell immediately if you need RB help. Conner could miss multiple games if he indeed tested positive for COVID-19.
