Ja'Marr Chase Expected To Play In Week 10
1 year agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (back) is expected to be active for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. He had been listed as questionable, and as late as Sunday morning, there was real doubt about his availability as he continued to deal with significant pain. However, Chase went through a series of pre-game tests and is now on track to play. Rapoport notes that Chase might be less effective than usual as he attempts to manage his pain. Don't be surprised if Chase plays on a snap count or runs some decoy routes. He drops to the WR2 tier in fantasy football. In addition to some questions about Chase's status, the Bengals will be without Tee Higgins (hamstring), leading to increased volume for Tyler Boyd and Trenton Irwin.
