Jamal Adams Says He's Playing Against Rams
4 years agoSeattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams (hand, shoulder) said that he will be playing in the wild-card playoff game against the Rams on Saturday, despite the fact that head coach Pete Carroll said on Tuesday that the All-Pro safety would be a game-time decision. "No question in my mind, I'm playing, man. As long as these legs are moving... I'm going to be out there... Let's get that out there, I'm full-go," Adams said. The 25-year-old was limited in practice on Wednesday, so he certainly has a chance to play this weekend. There's an argument to be made that Adams is the most valuable run-stopping and blitzing safety in the NFL when he's on the field, accumulating 59 tackles (11 for loss), 14 QB hits and a career-high 9.5 sacks in 12 games in his first year in Seattle. The three-time Pro Bowler has helped Seattle's defense stiffen late in the season, and they'll be a sneaky fantasy unit if John Wolford is under center for LA on Saturday.
