Jamal Adams, Devon Witherspoon Inactive For Seahawks
12 months agoSeattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams (knee), rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon (hip) and wide receiver Dee Eskridge (ribs) are officially inactive for the Monday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles. All three players came into this game listed as questionable on the final Week 15 injury report. Adams will miss be missing his second game due to a knee injury that has been bothering him since October. The impressive rookie Witherspoon injured his hip in the Week 14 loss to the San Francisco 49ers and will have to sit out at least one game. With the 23-year-old sidelined, Mike Jackson will start in Seattle's secondary. The absences of both Adams and Witherspoon is notable for the Seahawks defense on Monday night. It's good news for Eagles receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith and tight end Dallas Goedert.
