2 years agoUniversity of Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter is being charged with two misdemeanors for reckless driving and racing in connection with a Jan. 15 fatal accident. NFL teams were not aware of Carter's involvement in this fatal crash until Wednesday morning, so there are now obviously character concerns surrounding him that come into play before April's NFL draft. The 21-year-old did not work out at this week's scouting combine and is expected to head back to Atlanta to meet with police. He is widely considered to be one of the best defensive prospects in this year's draft class and has the potential to go No. 1 overall to the Chicago Bears if they keep their pick. There's a pretty good chance that Carter's off-the-field situation will hurt his stock in the upcoming draft.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
