1 year agoDallas Cowboys rookie wide receiver Jalen Brooks would be on the team if the roster had to be trimmed to 53 players right now, according to The Athletic's Jon Machota and Saad Yousuf. Brooks has been one of the team's top-six receivers at training camp this summer. He has good size and has looked comfortable as a route-runner and pass-catcher. The 23-year-old seventh-round selection will be one to watch during preseason action as he pushes for a roster spot in his first NFL season. Brooks has looked better than Simi Fehoko so far in camp. Even if Brooks makes the final roster in Dallas, he'll be buried on the receiver depth chart behind CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks, Michael Gallup, Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
