Jaguars Continue Adding To Secondary With Rayshawn Jenkins
4 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars signed free-agent safety Rayshawn Jenkins to a four-year, $35 million deal with $16 million fully guaranteed. The deal has a maximum total value of $39.5 million with incentives. The Jaguars also added defensive tackle Tyson Alualu to a two-year, $6 million deal on Tuesday. Jenkins previously played with the Los Angeles Chargers after being drafted in the fourth round in 2017 out of the University of Miami. He'll join a safety group that has struggled to find consistency alongside Jarrod Wilson. Jenkins ha 32 career regular season starts and was able to record 174 combined tackles, nine pass breakups and five interceptions in his time with Los Angeles.
