Jacoby Brissett Trending Toward Being A Game-Time Decision

Washington Commanders quarterback Jacoby Brissett (hamstring), who is questionable to play in Week 17 against the San Francisco 49ers, is shaping up to be a game-time decision on Sunday. Sam Howell will be ready to start if Brissett cannot go against San Fran. The Commanders named Brissett as the starting QB earlier in the week after continued struggles from Howell, but the 31-year-old veteran may not be able to make his first start of the 2023 season this weekend. Brissett replaced Howell in last Sunday's loss to the New York Jets and went 10-for-13 for 100 yards and a touchdown, and he's thrown three TDs in the last two weeks, but fantasy managers would have to be downright desperate in superflex leagues to consider starting either Brissett or Howell against the Niners this week.
