Jackson Jobe Throws 102 MPH In Spring Debut
9 months agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Jackson Jobe made his long-awaiting spring debut in Tuesday's 1-0 Grapefruit League loss to the Twins. The 21-year-old, who is the Tiger's No. 3 prospect and the No. 25 overall prospect per MLB Pipeline, pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning with two strikeouts and hit 102 MPH with his fastball. Jobe was reassigned to minor-league camp on Friday but manager A. J. Hinch called Jobe's performance "very impressive". Jobe only reached Double-A Erie last season, so it remains to be seen if he will make his big-league debut this season. Either way, he is a must-watch in dynasty leagues and keeper leagues.
