St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty was wild but overall effective on Tuesday, picking up a win and a quality start. He tossed six innings, allowing three runs on three hits while walking five and striking out six. Flaherty tossed 109 pitches, 61 for strikes. Despite the wildness, he was hard to hit and got away with all of the base runners while his offense scored 14 runs. He'll take a 4-3 record and a 4.34 ERA into his next start.
