6 months agoThe Vancouver Canucks acquired right wing J.T. Miller in exchange for goaltender Marek Mazanec, a conditional first-round pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and a third-round pick, too. Miller registered 13 goals and 34 assists across 75 games for the President's Trophy winning Lightning, but he was expendable since Tampa has an embarrassment of riches up front. Plus, they wanted to clear salary, and he cost $5.25 against their cap on a deal through the 2022-23 campaign. Miller will continue to be productive, especially if he gets to work with Calder Trophy winner Elias Pettersson. However, fantasy owners should expect a major hit in the plus/minus category.--Daniel E. Dobish - RotoBaller
