It was nice to see J.J. Spaun back on a PGA Tour leaderboard last week in Detroit. Things have not gone as smoothly as things were looking after a decent run in the fall, as the tour journeyman hadn't had a top-25 finish on the books until a few days ago. His putting is as sporadic as they come and he's only gained strokes off the tee in three of his 15 events in 2024. Throw in the fact he has one of the lowest birdie or better percentages on tour (19.92%) and it's easy to see him slide back down to irrelevancy if he doesn't make every putt he stands over. Even at $9,300 on FanDuel, the risk likely isn't worth the reward.--Todd McGill - RotoBaller
