The Indianapolis Colts waived cornerback Isaiah Rodgers Sr. and defensive end Rashod Berry on Thursday after it was announced that they have been suspended indefinitely by the league through at least the 2023 season for betting on NFL games last season. Free-agent defensive tackle Demetrius Taylor has also been suspended. It's bad timing for Rodgers, who was expected to take over as a starter in Indy's secondary this year. It's quite possible that we don't see any of these three players back in the league after their year-long suspensions. Rodgers was a sixth-round pick out of Massachusetts in 2020 and mostly served on special teams for the Colts, returning 61 kickoffs for 1,645 yards and a touchdown in three seasons.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
