Washington Capitals goaltender Ilya Samsonov will be the team's starter between the pipes in Wednesday's intriguing matchup against Tampa Bay. The Capitals have been riding Vitek Vanecek heavily since March, but Samsonov now gets a chance to impress against the defending champions. This will be only his fourth start since the start of last month. The Russian netminder is carrying a 19-9-4 record and has registered a 2.95 goals-against average with a .899 save percentage and two shutouts. This is a very tricky spot for Samsonov, but he at least catches the Lightning at a good time, as Jon Cooper's men have managed just two regulation wins in their last nine games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
