New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin posted his fourth shutout of the season on Thursday, kicking away 30 shots in a 3-0 win over Pittsburgh. It's his first shutout since Jan. 13. Shesterkin has dropped consecutive starts only two times this season and managed to avoid a three-game losing streak on Thursday. The work Shesterkin has put in all year is very impressive, and he's reached a 33-10-4 record with a 2.10 goals-against average and a league-best .935 save percentage. Many have the Russian netminder down as their MVP for the season and he's built himself a very strong case to win the award.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
