Ian Kennedy Rocked By A’s
7 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Ian Kennedy continued his trudge through a terrible season by getting demolished by Oakland on Friday night. Kennedy was nailed for eight earned runs in just three innings, bringing his ERA up to an astronomical 6.08 for the year. Kennedy is now 1-6 on the season, and he hasn’t had a quality start in a month. After surrendering three home runs on Friday, Kennedy is now back up to 13th place in most home runs allowed by a pitcher this season, joining teammates Danny Duffy and Jake Junis in the top 15 in the league. Kennedy has finished in the top 10 for that stat for three straight years, and he looks like he’s well on his way to doing it once again unless KC decides they’ve finally seen enough and keeps him off the mound. He should not be owned anywhere.
