1 year agoFree-agent outfielder Hunter Pence said he is open to re-signing with the San Francisco Giants this offseason. "Yeah, a couple teams have reached out," Pence said Tuesday. "I’m not going to really discuss who, but I’m really open -- I want a chance to play, a chance to win." Not much went right for Pence, who will be 36 next April, in 2018. He played in just 97 games due to injury and hit a putrid .226/.258/.332 with four home runs, 24 RBI and five stolen bases. He's injury-prone and doesn't run nearly as much as he did in his prime. Unlikely to be an everyday player in what could be his last season, Pence will strictly be single-league outfield depth next year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
