Hunter Brown Hurls Gem Monday

Houston Astros starting pitcher Hunter Brown shut down the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday, tossing seven scoreless frames in a 7-0 win. Brown dominated in this one, allowing just two hits and a walk while striking out nine. It appears to be a breakout season for the 26-year-old, who now has a 1.16 ERA and 0.74 WHIP with 31 strikeouts over 31 innings. He has quality starts in each of his five outings and has been able to limit hard contact while generating a solid amount of whiffs this season. His fantasy managers should be excited about his potential, even if his numbers will likely regress slightly. He is a must-start pitcher in every format.
