Hansel Robles Converts Eighth Save
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels pitcher Hansel Robles pitched a spotless frame to pick up his eighth save of the season in the Angels 5-3 win over the Dodgers. Robles allowed two hits but was able to escape unscathed and has not allowed a run over his past four appearances. Robles took over the closer's role about a month ago due to the injury to veteran Cody Allen. It appears that the job is Robles' to lose moving forward to pick up more saves but the Angels starting pitching has led to a sub-.500 record this season. Robles is no more than a middle-tier closer for fantasy owners to consider.
