The New York Giants selected Oregon edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux with the No. 5 overall pick in this year's draft on Thursday night. One year ago, Thibodeaux was the consensus No. 1 overall pick, so the Giants have to be pretty stoked that they ended up getting him fifth overall. He's a great talent that had nine sacks in his freshman year in college. The pass-rusher is extremely athletic, but he fell a bit in this year's draft because of questions about his desire to play the game of football. Thibodeaux reminds ESPN's Todd McShay a lot of former Chargers pass-rusher Shawne Merriman. The young defensive end is explosive off the line of scrimmage and has incredible bend around the edge as he makes his way to the quarterback.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
