The New York Giants and All-Pro defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence agreed to a four-year, $90 million contract extension on Thursday, according to sources. The deal includes $60 million guaranteed. The deal makes Lawrence the third-highest-paid defensive tackle in the NFL. The former first-round pick (17th overall) in 2019 out of Clemson made his first Pro Bowl in 2022 by recording a career-high 68 tackles (35 solo), a career-high 7.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss, 28 QB hits, three passes defensed and two forced fumbles in 16 regular season starts in his fourth NFL campaign. The 25-year-old will once again be a key defensive player for the G-Men in 2023 as they look to get back into the playoffs for the second straight year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
