3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (knee) suffered a season-ending left knee injury in the Monday night overtime win over the Baltimore Ravens, according to sources. The former multi-year Pro Bowler will miss the rest of the 2021 season after missing all of 2020 with a ruptured right quadriceps muscle, so it's another tough blow for the 33-year-old. Damion Square was added to the roster on Tuesday for more defensive line depth. Quinton Jefferson and Darius Philon should both see more playing time for the Raiders with McCoy now on the shelf for the remainder of the season. Las Vegas' defense hasn't been respected in quite a while, but the emergence of pass-rusher Maxx Crosby has people noticing early this year.
