George Kittle, Elijah Mitchell In Limbo For Week 4
3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that tight end George Kittle (calf) and rookie running back Elijah Mitchell (shoulder) are in limbo for the Week 4 game against the Seattle Seahawks. Shanahan also said it's "not guaranteed" that Kittle will play on Sunday after not practicing the last couple of days. Kittle and Mitchell will have a chance to suit up if they can practice on Friday, but that remains to be seen. As of right now, fantasy managers should consider both players questionable, and they become more risky with late-afternoon games on Sunday. Ross Dwelley would see an uptick in playing time if Kittle sits out. In the backfield, rookie Trey Sermon and fullback Kyle Juszczyk split the workload last weekend with Mitchell out.
