Genaro Valdez suffered a decision loss to Evan Elder on Saturday to drop to 0-3 in his UFC career. The Mexican got hurt early but did get out of a submission attempt and started to land some good shots. In the second round after getting dropped early, Valdez dropped Elder and nearly had him knocked out, but the American was able to recover. In the third round, Elder took over as Valdez was out-struck 34-18 to lose a clear-cut decision. With the loss, Valdez drops to 10-3 overall and 0-3 in the UFC and now could see himself getting his walking papers from the UFC soon.--Cole Shelton
